I was able to gain a lot of experience in the rail industry as a working student and intern during my studies. I was always fascinated by being able to see and use the results of my work in everyday life on the rails on my doorstep. After cycling, rail is my second mode of transportation of choice and I see it as an important contribution to sustainable mobility. I still see many challenges for the further strengthening of rail transport in the future, which I would like to work on personally.
